Comments: After 4 years of pain and 3 elbow specialists, I was resigned. I waited a year before I contacted Ortho at Stanford. After careful discussion I saw Dr Cheung who herself brought up elbow replacement as an option. I had already tried all alternative treatments with no relief and had brought up elbow replacement with three orthopedic doctors in San Francisco. All had declined. I had next to no cartilege left in my elbow. The surgery went incredibly well and within several weeks I was close to full range of motion. Two of the PT team expressed amazement with my progress. It felt like a miracle to me. Now it is a year later. I am so appreciative of her expert skills and see here many other excellent reviews. I was not surprised to read in her bio: "Dr Cheung Voted One of the Top 65 Orthopedic Surgeons in the country nominated by other orthopedic surgeons in 2017". How lucky I was to find her.
